Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Technical Trainer specializing in Pipe Fitting to join a reputable organization in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in the oil and gas sector who have a passion for training and developing skilled technicians.

The position offers a competitive salary range of SAR 8,000 to SAR 9,000 and requires a candidate capable of delivering high-quality training that meets industry standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for preparing detailed lesson plans and pacing schedules, conducting classroom and hands-on workshop training. They must use effective teaching methods tailored to the diverse learning styles of trainees to ensure successful knowledge transfer.

Another important duty is managing the needs of awarding bodies, ensuring that all training resources—including equipment, tools, consumables, and instructional aids—are available and suitable. The trainer will continuously improve their delivery techniques and maintain comprehensive training records according to required standards.

Regular assessment of trainee performance is necessary to monitor progress and adapt training content as needed. The trainer will also be responsible for updating course materials to align with the latest technical developments, organizational policies, and health and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 3 years of proven experience in technical training
• Minimum 5 years of relevant industrial experience specifically within the oil and gas industry
• Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written
• Experience with competence-based assessment schemes such as NVQ
• Familiarity with awarding body requirements and assessment processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as A1, V1, D32, or D33 are advantageous
• Previous training experience within the Middle East region is highly desirable
