Job Overview

A reputable company based in Bahrain is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join their team. This role demands a professional with hands-on experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of automotive service tasks, including:

• Performing brake system inspections and repairs.
• Changing suspension components to maintain vehicle stability and safety.
• Replacing transmission gearboxes efficiently.
• Identifying and repairing leaks as needed.
• Conducting routine oil and filter changes.
• Replacing vehicle batteries to ensure reliable starting.
• Managing air conditioning systems, including compressor and condenser replacements, as well as gas refills.
• Re-programming PCM (Powertrain Control Module) and VCM (Vehicle Control Module) systems.
• Using computer diagnostic tools like MMDS to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• Possess an ITI certificate or diploma in automotive or a related field.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in automotive repair and diagnostic services.
• Strong ability to work with modern diagnostic equipment and software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
