Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Control Inspector with a strong background in civil engineering to join our reputable construction company. This role involves meticulously verifying quantities for civil works across infrastructure and industrial projects, ensuring precise measurement, documentation, and reporting in alignment with project standards and contract requirements. Ideal candidates will have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience and proficiency in quantity surveying and civil construction processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Quantity Control Inspector will be responsible for:

• Validating the quantities of executed civil works on-site to ensure accuracy.
• Measuring and documenting work progress for accurate billing and progress reporting.
• Reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), engineering drawings, and project specifications.
• Collaborating closely with site engineers, surveyors, and planning teams to maintain consistency.
• Preparing detailed quantity reports, progress summaries, and material reconciliation documents.
• Ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations and approved design documents.
• Assisting in the assessment of subcontractor work quantities and reviewing payment certificates.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years’ experience in construction, infrastructure, or industrial project environments.
• Solid understanding of quantity surveying, BOQ interpretation, civil construction activities, and related measurement techniques.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and quality quantity measurement practices.
• Strong analytical capabilities coupled with effective reporting skills.

Additional Requirements

The successful candidate should be prepared to answer specific pre-employment questions regarding personal details, transferable Iqama status, previous employment, salary expectations, and availability to join. Understanding and acceptance of the offered salary range of 5,000 to 5,500 SAR is required.
