Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer specializing in construction chemicals to join our team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling trusted construction chemical products, building strong relationships within the construction industry, and driving sales growth. This role involves technical sales expertise combined with relationship management to secure project approvals and expand our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Promoting a comprehensive range of construction chemical products including waterproofing, flooring, repair and rehabilitation solutions, grouts, anchors, sealants, admixtures, tile fixing systems, and protective coatings.
• Identifying and cultivating new business prospects within the construction and infrastructure sectors.
• Establishing and maintaining strong professional networks with consultants, contractors, developers, project managers, and applicators.
• Conducting site visits regularly to discover new project opportunities and offer technical support.
• Following up on project specifications, technical submittals, product approvals, and demonstrations.
• Preparing accurate quotations, technical proposals, and engaging project presentations.
• Maintaining up-to-date project pipelines and ensuring accurate sales forecasts.
• Collaborating with suppliers and technical teams to guarantee effective project implementation.
• Meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets and business development goals.
• Collecting and analyzing market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing strategies, and upcoming projects.

Requirements

The successful candidate should possess:

• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in sales of construction chemicals within Bahrain.
• Familiarity with leading brands such as Sika, BASF (Master Builders Solutions), Fosroc, Mapei, or similar manufacturers.
• A strong network of industry contacts including consultants, contractors, developers, and applicators in Bahrain.
• Sound knowledge of construction chemical products and their practical applications.
• Ability to interpret specifications, BOQs, drawings, and related technical documents.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
• Self-driven with the capability to work independently and consistently achieve targets.
• Valid Bahraini driving license is mandatory.
• Fluent English communication skills; proficiency in Arabic is considered an advantage.
