Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Food Service Equipment Project Manager for commercial kitchen projects based in Bahrain. This role is reserved for Arab nationals and offers a competitive total package of BD 2000-2500, including yearly airfare, family status benefits, a company vehicle, and mobile SIM. The ideal candidate will lead full-cycle project management for food service equipment installations within hospitality, healthcare, and central kitchen environments.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will oversee all phases of project execution from initial design through final handover. This includes preparing technical drawings, layouts, and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for equipment. You will coordinate closely with consultants, architects, clients, suppliers, and contractors to confirm design specifications and ensure timely delivery and installation. Monitoring project budgets, schedules, and compliance with local health, fire, and safety regulations is essential. Conducting site inspections, managing snag lists, and preparing handover documentation will be crucial to successfully close projects. Additionally, providing technical support during tendering and procurement stages and mentoring junior staff are key parts of the role.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is mandatory.
• Over 10 years of hands-on experience managing commercial kitchen equipment projects across the GCC region.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing technical designs.
• Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end project management including sales, design, BOQ preparation, installation, commissioning, and final handover.
• Excellent site supervision capabilities and project control skills.
• Effective communication and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience working with international kitchen equipment brands such as Hobart, Rational, and Electrolux.
• Familiarity with hospitality chains, food and beverage operations, hospitals, or central kitchen projects.
• PMP certification or an equivalent credential will be considered a plus.
• Arabic language skills are preferred.
