Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Control (QC) Inspector specializing in static and rotating equipment to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in inspection disciplines relevant to the oil and gas, refinery, petrochemical, or pipeline industries. The position requires hands-on experience with rotating machinery and a solid understanding of nondestructive testing methods.

Key Responsibilities

The QC Inspector will be responsible for ensuring quality and compliance throughout equipment inspection processes. This includes inspecting pumps, compressors, generators, turbines, and motors during design and operational phases. The role demands thorough knowledge of various nondestructive testing techniques such as Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Penetrant Testing (PT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Visual Testing (VT), and Radiographic Testing for Flaws Indication (RTFI). Additionally, the inspector will apply relevant international standards like API 686 to maintain high quality and safety benchmarks within the projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent inspection-related discipline with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in quality control inspection. Alternatively, candidates with a two-year industrial or technical college diploma and at least 8 years of relevant inspection experience will also be considered.
• Proven expertise in the inspection and operation of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, and generators.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nondestructive testing (NDT) methods including MT, PT, UT, VT, and RTFI.
• Familiarity with international industry standards, particularly API 686.
• Working experience with quality management systems and inspection methodologies.
• Valid driving license is mandatory.
