Job Overview

Nair Systems is seeking a highly skilled Digital Applications Administrator for its Qatar operations. This role focuses on managing and supporting applications deployed on RedHat OpenShift with a strong emphasis on enterprise integration, security, and high availability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with container orchestration, middleware, and monitoring tools to ensure seamless operation across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will manage and maintain the deployment, configuration, and performance tuning of applications and middleware services. Responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting servers and application logs, managing incident resolution, implementing OS and application patching and hardening, and supporting disaster recovery setups to guarantee business continuity. They will also ensure adherence to SLAs relating to operational stability, security policies, and compliance audits.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proficiency with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm charts for container orchestration and deployments.
• Experience with DevOps pipelines, using Jenkins or GitLab to automate builds and deployments.
• Strong background in IBM integration technologies, including IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE), IBM API Connect, DataPower Gateway, MQ, and Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I).
• Familiarity with APIs, including REST and SOAP, API Gateways, message brokers like Kafka and IBM MQ, and integration troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and ELK stack for application and infrastructure performance.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and best practices in IT service management.
• Knowledge of security practices including HSTS, SSL/TLS hardening, vulnerability scanning, audit documentation, and certificate management.
• Experience administering RedHat Linux servers and Apache Web Server environments.
• Shell scripting skills for automation and system management tasks.
• Redis cluster management, including persistence, failover, and performance tuning is a plus.

Professional Experience and Requirements

Applicants should have between 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in managing containerized applications and middleware platforms. The successful candidate must be prepared to join within two weeks, with a maximum joining period of one month.
