Alternative Option is seeking a motivated Entry-Level General Accountant to join our accounting team in Mohandseen, Giza. This position is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to three years of experience looking to grow their career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities

The General Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting operations. Key duties include recording journal entries, assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, performing bank reconciliations, and tracking cash transactions. The role also involves supporting accounts payable and receivable activities, participating in inventory counts, and ensuring compliance with established accounting standards and internal controls. Collaboration with other departments to provide timely financial data is also expected.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Up to three years of relevant accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in data entry and financial analysis.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience or familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems is advantageous.
• Good organizational and time management capabilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to adapt and learn new financial processes and technologies.

Additional Opportunities

There is a potential for selected candidates to travel to Saudi Arabia for assignments with one of our sister companies, subject to performance and business needs.
