Job Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with solid experience to join our team in NEOM. This role involves overseeing electrical maintenance activities, managing power distribution systems, and ensuring operational efficiency and safety. The position requires a proactive professional who can lead technicians and coordinate with multiple teams for smooth facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will supervise electrical technicians, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring that all maintenance tasks are planned, scheduled, and executed effectively. Key duties include managing LV and MV power distribution equipment such as transformers, switchgear, motor control centers (MCCs), and generators. You will also review and approve maintenance procedures and work permits, conduct root cause analysis for electrical failures, and coordinate shutdowns and restorations.

Monitoring energy consumption and recommending cost-saving measures will be crucial, along with ensuring adherence to electrical codes and safety standards. You will review technical specifications, drawings, and load calculations, manage the inventory of spare parts and critical electrical equipment, and oversee procurement activities including preparation of purchase requests and technical evaluations.

The role includes active participation in testing, commissioning, and project handovers, as well as preparing detailed monthly reports on maintenance KPIs and asset performance. Close coordination with Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC, mechanical, and facilities management teams will be required to maintain integrated operations. Support during emergency response and critical facility operations is also part of the responsibilities, alongside providing technical training and competency assessments for the electrical team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in electrical engineering within maintenance and operations environments
• Strong understanding of LV and MV power distribution systems and associated equipment
• Ability to lead and manage technical teams effectively
• Experience with electrical safety codes and regulatory compliance
• Skilled in root cause analysis and troubleshooting electrical issues
• Competence in preparing and reviewing technical documents and procurement materials
• Good communication skills for coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• MUST possess valid AJEER, Abshar, Muqeem, and passport copy for employment

Employment Details

This is a fixed-term contract for 6 months with the company covering the Final Acceptance Test (FAT). The job is based in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.
