Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ASNT Level II Eddy Current Testing (ET) trainer to conduct an in-depth training program focused on both theoretical knowledge and practical application. This role involves delivering hands-on sessions using advanced automatic eddy current testing equipment, essential for inspecting aircraft components, welds, and non-magnetic materials.

Key Responsibilities

The trainer will be expected to cover a comprehensive curriculum including the principles of eddy current testing, calibration procedures, defect detection in various materials, and interpretation of test results. Trainees will learn to handle equipment calibration, select appropriate probes and frequencies, and conduct inspections on typical welded joints found in aerospace and industrial sectors.

Additional responsibilities include guiding participants on writing precise inspection instructions and test reports, grading materials by conductivity and permeability, and assessing the suitability of ET techniques across different materials according to international standards.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Certified ASNT Level II qualification in Eddy Current Testing
• Proven experience delivering ET training, particularly in aerospace and weld inspection contexts
• Strong ability to facilitate hands-on training using automatic eddy current machines
• Comprehensive understanding of ET principles, calibration, defect detection, and result interpretation
• Excellent communication skills to prepare clear inspection procedures and reports
