Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Draftsman and Site Engineer with a strong background in construction and finishing industries to join our team. This role is ideal for a candidate who is detail-oriented, skilled in AutoCAD, and experienced in managing site operations efficiently. The position demands a proactive individual committed to ensuring quality and safety throughout project execution.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quotations, shop drawings, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ). They will liaise closely with clients to address quotation requests promptly. On-site, the engineer will supervise daily activities, ensuring all work aligns with the approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations. Routine inspections, field surveys, and quality control checks are vital components of this role. Additionally, preparing daily progress reports and coordinating communications with project managers are essential duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of practical experience in construction or finishing industries, including site work.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software for drafting and design.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and honesty.
• Male candidates preferred, ideally residents of Bahrain.

Work Environment

This position involves both office-based drafting work and regular site supervision in various construction settings. The candidate should be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment while maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders.
