Job Overview

We are urgently seeking an experienced Technical Trainer specializing in Pipe Fitting to join a dynamic team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a skilled professional with a solid background in oil and gas industrial operations and proven expertise in delivering high-quality technical training to diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be tasked with designing and delivering effective training programs related to pipe fitting. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, managing pacing schedules, and conducting both classroom and hands-on workshop sessions. You will use varied teaching techniques to engage trainees and ensure successful learning outcomes. Adaptability in teaching approaches is essential to meet the diverse learning needs within the organization.

Ensuring the availability and suitability of training tools, equipment, and supplies is crucial. You will also be responsible for continuously enhancing instructional methods and presentation skills to maintain training efficacy.

Maintaining comprehensive training records with accuracy and timeliness is an important part of the role. Monitoring trainee progress and using assessment results to refine teaching practices supports quality and consistency in course delivery.

Staying current with technical advancements and revising course materials accordingly ensures training content remains relevant and compliant with industry standards and safety regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a technical trainer, preferably in pipe fitting or related disciplines within the oil and gas sector.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on industrial experience in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with competence-based assessments, such as NVQ-style evaluations.
  • Knowledge of awarding bodies’ training and assessment frameworks.
  • Familiarity with training qualification certifications such as A1 or V1 / D32 or D33 is highly desirable.
  • Previous work experience in the Middle East is an advantage.

Salary and Benefits

The offered salary ranges between SAR 8,000 and SAR 9,000, reflecting competitive compensation for qualified candidates with relevant experience.
