Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead 33/13.8kV secondary substation projects based in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high and medium voltage substation engineering, along with proven experience managing projects in the region. This role requires expert knowledge of SEC standards and exceptional leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will oversee project execution from initial concept through to completion and handover. Responsibilities include managing design development to ensure alignment with SEC regulations and international codes, coordinating efforts among clients, consultants, and governmental authorities, and supervising procurement and contractor performance. Efficiently controlling project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation will also be essential to the successful delivery of each project.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• PMP certification is mandatory
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in HV/MV substation projects at 13.8kV, 33kV or higher
• Extensive practical experience working on projects within Saudi Arabia
• Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and procedures
• Strong technical understanding of substation design, construction methods, and commissioning processes
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and manage multiple stakeholders
