We are looking for an experienced and proactive Business Development Manager to join our expanding contracting company in Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on driving growth, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing client relationships within the contracting and construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess industry knowledge and a strong market understanding to help our company secure new projects and strengthen our position in the market.

Key Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager will take charge of several critical duties, including:

• Identifying and developing new business prospects in contracting, construction, and industrial sectors
• Establishing and maintaining robust relationships with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders
• Preparing and presenting detailed technical and commercial proposals
• Overseeing bidding, prequalification, and tender submission processes
• Meeting assigned business development targets and objectives
• Collaborating closely with project management and estimation teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Conducting comprehensive market research and analyzing competitors to inform strategy

Required Skills and Experience

The successful candidate should meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• At least 5 to 10 years of proven experience in business development within the contracting or construction industry
• Strong familiarity with the Saudi market is preferred
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to effectively engage clients and partners
• A demonstrated history of successfully securing contracts and winning projects
• Transferable Iqama is an advantage
