Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Landscape Architect to join our team, specializing in landscaping, horticulture, and agricultural projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape architecture or agriculture, coupled with hands-on experience managing gardening and plantation initiatives. This role requires expertise in irrigation systems and effective pest management to deliver sustainable and cost-efficient landscaping solutions.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will lead research efforts to identify land use challenges and determine the best plant varieties suitable for various environments. You will develop innovative techniques for nursery operations and oversee methods for planting, spraying, cultivating, harvesting, and storing horticultural products. Additionally, you will design and implement Integrated Pest Management programs to address agricultural and horticultural pest concerns.

You will also guide the planning and development of community landscaping projects, aiming to ensure quality design and cost-efficiency. Providing training and mentorship to staff on the latest horticultural technologies and pest control strategies is a vital part of the role. You will monitor soil conditions and adopt advanced soil conservation methods to enhance agricultural productivity. Supervising and evaluating the performance of gardening and landscaping personnel, along with preparing detailed reports for management, is also expected.

Required Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, or a closely related field from an accredited institution. Saudi nationals should possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience, while expatriates must have at least five years of professional experience in horticulture, gardening, or plantation management.

Proficiency with irrigation systems and pest management techniques is essential. Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and implement training programs for horticultural staff are also required.
