Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Engineer with a strong background in architecture, civil engineering, or related fields to join our team. This role requires a professional who can identify new business opportunities in the engineering consultancy, construction, and real estate sectors within the Saudi market. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 7 years of relevant experience and the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position is to drive business growth through strategic lead generation and relationship management. Responsibilities include identifying potential projects, generating leads for design, supervision, and project management services, and promoting our offerings to both governmental and private sector clients. The Business Development Engineer will also monitor tender opportunities, coordinate closely with the Proposals and Estimation Department to ensure competitive technical and financial submissions, and participate in industry events for networking and brand promotion. Regular reporting on business prospects and achieving set sales targets are critical aspects of the role.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in business development and technical sales within engineering-related industries.
• Competency in preparing detailed proposals aligned with client requirements.
• Experience in managing customer relationships through CRM tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
• Strong understanding of engineering contracts, project workflows, and market dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 3 years up to 7 years of relevant experience in engineering consultancy, construction, or real estate development.
• Familiarity with the Saudi market and its industry players.
• Solid negotiation and relationship-building skills to effectively engage with developers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
