Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Civil Estimation Engineer to join a high-profile Power and Energy project in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. This contract role spans 3 to 6 months and requires an expert with a solid background in civil engineering, specializing in estimation and quantity surveying for power infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for precise quantity take-offs, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and comprehensive cost estimation. Additional duties include tender evaluation, subcontractor assessment, and cost control for HV/MV substations and related power infrastructure. The role demands involvement in civil and structural works such as foundations, structural steel, buildings, underground utilities, and concrete works. Managing variations, claims, and commercial evaluations while assessing the financial impact of changes will also be essential.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in quantity surveying, tendering, and cost estimation for large-scale projects.
• Strong expertise in HV/MV substations, E-House projects, and power infrastructure works.
• Proficient in BOQ preparation, cost estimation, and quantity take-offs.
• Advanced skills in using AutoCAD, MS Excel, and cost control software.
• Knowledge of civil and structural engineering works including foundations, building structures, underground utilities, and concrete applications.
• Experience handling variations, claims, commercial evaluations, and cost impact analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with professional approvals such as SEC, TAQA, or DEWA certification as Civil or Structural Engineers will be given preference.
