Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to join our team in Dammam. The role offers a competitive salary package ranging from 13,000 to 15,000 SAR. This position involves preparing and reviewing detailed electrical engineering deliverables to support industrial and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and reviewing single line diagrams (SLDs), load lists, cable sizing calculations, layout drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications. Duties also include supporting the design and review of low voltage (LV) and medium voltage (MV) power distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), electrical panels, grounding, and earthing systems. Ensuring compliance with Saudi Arabian Electrical Standards (SAES), SAMSS, IEC, IEEE, NEC, and other relevant industry standards is essential. Additionally, the role requires reviewing vendor documentation, addressing technical clarifications, and verifying specification adherence.

This position also involves providing technical support during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and responding to site engineering inquiries. The engineer will assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues encountered during construction and commissioning phases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in electrical design and project support is required, preferably within the industrial, oil and gas, or infrastructure sectors. Proven expertise in LV and MV electrical systems as well as electrical calculations is important.

Experience with vendor document reviews and technical evaluation processes is expected. Familiarity with construction and commissioning support, along with proficiency in engineering software such as ETAP, AutoCAD, and EPLAN (or equivalent), is highly valued. Strong analytical abilities combined with effective communication skills will contribute to success in this role.
