Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled Networking Field Technician with hands-on experience in telecommunications and networking equipment installation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and configuring 5G routers, wireless connectivity devices, and industrial paging systems across various sites. This role demands the ability to perform site surveys, troubleshoot issues in the field, and ensure high-quality network performance.

Key Responsibilities

The Networking Field Technician will be tasked with a range of duties including:

• Installing and configuring 5G routers along with wireless communication equipment.
• Aligning external antennas and evaluating signal quality metrics such as RSRP, RSRQ, and SINR.
• Performing basic network setup involving LAN/WAN configuration, IP addressing, and DHCP settings.
• Installing industrial paging systems, including telephones, speakers, and paging devices.
• Running cables such as CAT6, power, and audio wires necessary for system connectivity.
• Connecting and setting up speakers and paging systems as per site requirements.
• Interpreting and following site layout drawings to ensure accurate installation.
• Providing field support by conducting site surveys and troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.

Required Skills and Experience

• 1 to 3 years of proven experience working in telecom, networking, or low-current system installations.
• Hands-on familiarity with 5G and 4G routers, as well as wireless networking hardware.
• Demonstrated expertise in antenna installation and alignment to optimize signal reception.
• Basic networking knowledge involving IP configuration, LAN/WAN setup, and DHCP.
• Experience in installing IP phones, speakers, and various paging systems.
• Strong background in cable installation including CAT6, power, and audio cables.
• Fieldwork experience in industrial, construction, or remote site environments is considered an advantage.
