Job Overview
We are looking for skilled professionals to join our team for a contract with the Saudi Electricity Company, focusing on the repair, replacement, and new installation of fiber optic links. This opportunity is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, offering competitive salaries based on experience.
Communication Engineer Role
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in telecom and network engineering with a strong background in OSP fiber networks, FTTH/FTTX projects, and telecom infrastructure management. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external clients throughout design, planning, and implementation phases, as well as ensuring smooth daily site operations and milestone management.
This role requires proficiency with survey and design integrated tools, PMCS platforms for monitoring and reporting, and preparing comprehensive as-built documentation through invoicing stages. Overseeing OSP fiber activities such as ducting, trenching, pipe laying, cable pulling, and installation is also essential. Strong attention to QA/QC compliance aligned with SEC-NG standards is required, along with preparing BOQs, technical drawings, RFS documentation, and managing progress handovers including PAT/FAT, while resolving on-site technical challenges.
Surveyor Position
We also seek a Certified Surveying Specialist registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers, possessing over five years of experience in surveying and geospatial data management for utility infrastructure projects. The candidate should be proficient with survey equipment including GPS, Total Station, and Digital Levels, as well as design and GIS software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS Pro, and file formats like KML/KMZ. Experience in data management tools including Excel and Workforce Management Systems is necessary.
Soft skills such as keen attention to detail, effective problem-solving, strong team collaboration, and skilled reporting are essential to succeed in this role.
Salary and Benefits
Salary for the Communication Engineer role ranges from 4,500 to 7,000 SAR per month, depending on experience. The Surveyor position offers a monthly salary between 2,500 and 5,000 SAR, based on qualifications and expertise.
