Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Site Engineer to join an ongoing Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) project focusing on the construction of a 110kV Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) in Saabar, Jeddah. This role requires a hands-on professional capable of overseeing daily site operations, both technically and administratively, ensuring the project progresses smoothly and meets quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Site Engineer will be responsible for managing and executing various technical activities on site, including but not limited to:

• Complete stringing operations such as hoisting, paying out, ACSR conductor pulling, dead-ending, clipping, sagging, and installation of spacers and jumpers
• OPGW stringing tasks including hoisting, paying out, lead-down, earthing/grounding, and joint box installation
• Assembly and erection of towers with precise bolt tightening and torquing to ensure structural integrity
• Overseeing daily site activities to maintain compliance with project timelines and safety standards

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must have at least two years of hands-on experience working on SEC OHTL projects. A strong grasp of electrical site engineering principles and practical knowledge of stringing and tower erection are essential. Additionally, fluency in English is required to effectively communicate and manage site operations.

The ideal candidate should hold a diploma in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants from Indian, Filipino, or Nepali backgrounds who meet the experience and skill requirements.
