Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Steel Structural Draftsman with a strong background in technical drafting and design. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed layouts and fabrication drawings in alignment with engineering requirements for construction projects in Saudi Arabia. This role demands proficiency in drafting software and the ability to work collaboratively with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure project accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves preparing both 2D and 3D technical drawings, including fabrication and shop drawings, based on project specifications. You’ll coordinate closely with engineers and project teams to revise drawings according to feedback and site conditions. Maintaining proper documentation and drawing revisions is essential to keep track of project changes. Additionally, preparing material take-offs and ensuring all drawings meet industry standards will be part of your daily tasks.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Drafting or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience specifically in steel structural drafting.
• Strong proficiency in Tekla (mandatory for steel structures) and AutoCAD, along with other drafting software.
• Familiarity with fabrication and installation drawings within steel structure or construction projects.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while coordinating with multiple departments.

Additional Requirements

This position is open to all nationalities with a preference for Filipinos. Candidates must be currently located in Saudi Arabia and possess a transferable iqama. Preparedness for a physical interview is required.
