We are seeking a meticulous Accountant to join our Transportation and Customs Clearance team in Dammam. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers in a dynamic environment and wants to contribute to the efficient financial management of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our customs compliance efforts. Key duties include:

• Managing comprehensive financial reporting by maintaining ledgers, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing monthly financial statements.
• Handling documentation related to customs duties, VAT filings, and clearance expenses to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Performing timely bank and vendor reconciliations, focusing on transport records and shipping invoices.
• Coordinating closely with the operations team to verify billing accuracy for both domestic and international freight shipments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is essential for this position.
• Previous experience in the logistics, transport, or customs clearance sectors is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency with MS Excel and familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Odoo, or SAP.
