Job Overview
We are urgently seeking qualified engineering professionals for local transfer opportunities in Saudi Arabia. Available roles include Lead Welding Engineer, Lead Mechanical Engineer, Lead Electrical Engineer, Lead I&C Engineer, and Electrical Inspector. Candidates must have significant experience in QA/QC within large-scale power, energy, or EPC projects, specifically involving Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) plants. Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates will lead and oversee quality assurance and quality control activities tailored to their engineering discipline. Responsibilities include managing inspection processes, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards such as ASME Section I, coordinating with project teams, and maintaining high standards in installation and testing phases for power plant components like HRSG, water/steam cycle piping, boilers, and instrumentation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Lead Welding Engineer: Over 10 years of Mechanical QA/QC experience with at least 7 years in leadership roles on large power or energy projects. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) projects experience, particularly with HRSG and boiler components. A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Welding, or Construction Engineering Technology is required. Diploma holders must have at least 15 years overall experience.
- Lead Mechanical Engineer: At least 10 years of Mechanical QA/QC experience, including 7 years in supervisory roles on large-scale power plants or EPC projects. A minimum of 4 CCGT projects experience is necessary. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Construction, or Industrial Engineering Technology.
- Lead Electrical Engineer: Candidates must have over 10 years of Electrical QA/QC experience, with at least 7 years on power or EPC projects in a lead role. A minimum of 3 CCGT projects experience is required. Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical or Power Engineering Technology.
- Lead I&C Engineer: Require 10+ years in Instrumentation and Control QA/QC experience, including 7 years leading large power or EPC projects. Experience with a minimum of 3 CCGT projects is essential. A Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Power Engineering Technology is necessary.
- Electrical Inspector: At least 7 years of Electrical QA/QC experience, with 4 years on large-scale power or energy EPC projects. Candidates must have worked on at least 2 CCGT projects and hold a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical or Power Engineering Technology.
Qualifications
Applicants should have relevant engineering degrees or diplomas in their respective fields from recognized institutions. Extensive practical experience in quality assurance and control on large-scale power generation projects, especially related to Combined Cycle Gas Turbine technology, is critical. Leadership experience and familiarity with industry standards and codes will be highly valued.
