Job Overview

Red Fort General Contracting EST is seeking a skilled Welding Quality Control (QC) Inspector for an Aramco project located near Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in welding inspection within large-scale industrial projects, particularly those related to Aramco standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Welding QC Inspector will be responsible for overseeing all welding processes and ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards. This includes:

• Inspecting welds for defects and adherence to quality codes
• Monitoring welding activities on site to guarantee proper procedures are followed
• Coordinating with project engineers and contractors to resolve quality issues
• Conducting non-destructive testing (NDT) where necessary
• Preparing inspection reports and maintaining documentation for quality assurance

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of six years’ experience as a Welding QC Inspector, preferably with a background working on Aramco projects. Relevant skills include:

• Strong knowledge of welding codes and standards applied in the oil and gas industry
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications
• Experience with various welding techniques and quality inspection tools
• Effective communication and reporting skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures

Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate solid hands-on experience in welding quality control, with preference given to candidates who hold Aramco approval. However, non-Aramco approved professionals with relevant expertise are also encouraged to apply.
