Job Overview

CEG International is actively seeking experienced Fire Life & Safety Engineers for key roles based in Qatar. We have openings for both Senior and mid-level Fire Life & Safety Engineers who will play a critical role in supervising and consulting on major PWA building projects. These positions demand in-depth architectural engineering knowledge combined with practical experience in fire safety standards and project oversight.

Key Responsibilities

Successful candidates will be responsible for supervising fire safety engineering aspects on major building projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international safety standards. Your expertise will support the consultancy process, guiding design reviews, risk assessments, and implementation of fire protection systems. You will collaborate closely with project teams to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architectural Engineering is mandatory.
• Extensive experience working on PWA building projects.
• Strong background in consultancy roles overseeing project supervision.
• Proven exposure as a Fire Life & Safety Engineer, with senior-level expertise for the senior role.
• For the Senior Engineer position, possession of a UPDA Grade A certification is required.
• Previous approvals or experience with PWA/ATM projects will be considered a significant advantage.
• Immediate availability or the ability to join with a short notice period is preferred.

Experience Levels

Senior Fire Life & Safety Engineer: A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in fire safety engineering with supervisory expertise on PWA projects.

Fire Life & Safety Engineer: A minimum of 12 years of experience, with solid exposure to consultant supervision projects in the fire life and safety domain.
