Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Courier Services Manager to join a dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. This is a permanent position focused on overseeing daily courier operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of shipments. The role demands strong leadership within logistics and an ability to boost customer satisfaction and business profitability.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing courier service workflows, including the coordination of pickup, transit, and delivery activities. You will lead courier, dispatch, and operations teams while monitoring service quality and operational performance. Developing strategies to enhance efficiency and profitability is essential. Collaboration with logistics, transportation, and freight forwarding departments is also required. Additionally, managing client relationships and promptly addressing operational concerns are critical to this role. Preparing operational reports, budgets, and performance evaluations will form part of your regular duties while ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

Required Skills and Experience

Candidates must have a minimum of 8 to 10 years’ experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or courier services, including proven managerial responsibilities. A solid understanding of courier operations, last-mile delivery, and distribution networks is essential. Experience managing teams, fleet operations, and customer service within courier services is highly valued. Strong business development skills, client relationship management, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are also required. Holding a valid Qatar Driving License is preferred.
