Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Business Manager specializing in transportation and logistics to join a reputable company based in Doha, Qatar. Key Responsibilities

The Business Manager will be responsible for developing and expanding the transportation and logistics portfolio by identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role requires hands-on management of transportation operations to ensure high service standards and adherence to company policies.

In addition, the role involves preparing strategic business plans aimed at achieving revenue and growth objectives. You will coordinate closely with internal teams such as operations, customs clearance, and freight forwarding to deliver seamless logistics solutions. Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry is also essential.

Another critical aspect of this position is leading contract negotiations and managing commercial discussions with clients to secure beneficial agreements. Regular business reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis will support informed decision-making at the management level.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in the logistics, transportation, and freight forwarding sectors, including managerial roles.
• Proven ability in business development and client relationship management within the transportation industry.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, fleet management, and logistics solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Qatar’s logistics and freight market dynamics.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
• Possession of a valid Qatar driving license is considered an advantage.
