We are seeking a seasoned Customs Clearance Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This permanent position involves managing all customs clearance processes for both import and export shipments while ensuring full compliance with Qatar Customs regulations. The ideal candidate will lead the customs clearance team to ensure efficient shipment deliveries, minimize delays, and control costs.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating customs clearance activities, including liaising with customs authorities, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clients. Key duties include reviewing and verifying shipping and customs documentation, monitoring clearance timelines, and promptly resolving any customs-related challenges. The role also involves maintaining precise records and preparing operational reports to support smooth logistics operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Applicants should have 8 to 10 years of experience in Customs Clearance, Logistics, or Freight Forwarding, with a solid background managing customs operations in Qatar. A strong understanding of Qatar Customs laws, import/export procedures, and documentation processes is essential. Candidates must possess excellent leadership abilities to manage and motivate the customs clearance team effectively. Superior communication and coordination skills are vital for successful interactions with various agencies and stakeholders. A Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline is preferred.
