Currently, we seek a skilled Maintenance Technician specializing in restaurant kitchens to join our team on a full-time basis. This role focuses on the upkeep and repair of kitchen and related equipment to ensure seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing preventive and corrective maintenance plans covering refrigeration units, HVAC systems, commercial kitchen appliances, and basic electrical and plumbing tasks. Prompt troubleshooting and repair during emergencies are critical to minimizing downtime. Maintaining accurate upkeep logs, checklists, and spare parts inventory, along with vendor coordination when necessary, is essential. The role also involves identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions to enhance equipment reliability and ensure compliance with safety standards across multiple sites.

Required Skills and Experience

• Demonstrated experience in hospitality or restaurant maintenance with hands-on knowledge of kitchen equipment.
• Proficiency in handling refrigeration systems including refrigerators, freezers, and walk-in chillers.
• Experience servicing HVAC units such as split and cassette air conditioners.
• Competence with commercial kitchen machinery like ovens, grinders, and mixers including inspection and calibration support.
• Basic electrical skills involving switches, sockets, and minor wiring adhering to safety protocols.
• Ability to manage basic plumbing tasks including leak repairs, drainage, and grease trap maintenance.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining maintenance documentation and reporting.
• Capacity to work efficiently under pressure, managing urgent repairs and prioritizing across multiple locations.
• Computer literacy for logging maintenance activities and communication.
• Good command of English for reading, basic reporting, and verbal communication.
