Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Technician for a short-term contract at Qatar University. This position offers a one-month tenure with the possibility of extension, providing a competitive all-inclusive salary of QAR 2,500. The role requires working six days a week for nine hours each day.

Key Responsibilities

The ELV Technician will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting various ELV systems. This includes CCTV surveillance, access control, fire alarm installations, and public address (PA) systems. The role demands hands-on maintenance and ensuring that all systems operate efficiently in compliance with technical standards.

Required Skills and Experience

• Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical or Electronics fields.
• At least three years of experience in ELV system maintenance.
• Prior experience working with a Facilities Management (FM) company is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, and PA systems.
• Basic understanding of networking and IP systems is preferred.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at Qatar University, where the technician will interact closely with FM teams to ensure uninterrupted ELV system functionality. The environment is dynamic and requires a proactive approach to system maintenance and troubleshooting.
