Job Overview

TMS Group is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior and Exterior Designer to join their expanding team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in architectural and design principles, offering expertise in drafting, 3D visualization, and project coordination. This role requires hands-on involvement with design software, site support, and the management of multiple projects while ensuring adherence to Gulf construction standards.

Key Responsibilities

As an Interior and Exterior Designer at TMS Group, you will be responsible for:

• Developing architectural, interior, and exterior design concepts that meet project objectives
• Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings, shop drawings, elevations, and technical layouts using AutoCAD and other software
• Creating realistic renderings and 3D visualizations for client presentations
• Preparing bill of quantities support and specifying materials accurately
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution
• Conducting site visits to verify that design implementations align with planned specifications
• Revising drawings and concepts based on feedback and updated project requirements
• Supporting branding initiatives, space planning, and commercial layout designs
• Ensuring compliance of all design drawings with company quality standards and local municipality regulations
• Assisting in project scheduling and maintaining organized documentation throughout project phases

Required Skills and Experience

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
• A minimum of three years of Gulf experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman or Designer
• Proficiency in design and visualization software including AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Strong command of Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to prepare professional 2D and 3D drawings, rendering presentations, and shop drawings
• In-depth knowledge of interior fit-out and exterior façade detailing
• Understanding of Saudi and Gulf construction standards and materials
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Strong project management capabilities with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple assignments

Preferred Qualifications

Candidates with experience in commercial, retail, restaurant, or residential projects will have an advantage. The role requires a creative mindset combined with attention to detail and an ability to manage both office-based drafting tasks and on-site coordination effectively.

Work Environment

This position is based in Al Khobar and involves working closely with diverse teams, conducting site visits, and participating in client meetings and presentations. The candidate must be available locally in Saudi Arabia for a mandatory in-person interview.
