Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and certified Rigger Level 3 with a valid Saudi Aramco certification to join our team for an ongoing project based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role involves preparing, inspecting, and executing both routine and complex lifting operations, ensuring the highest level of safety and adherence to Saudi Aramco General Instructions (GI).

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for safely attaching loads to various lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, and other machinery by using appropriate hardware including slings, shackles, hooks, and chains. Conducting thorough pre-use inspections on all rigging equipment to identify defects and guarantee their operational integrity is an essential part of the role. Clear communication using standardized hand signals and radio communication with crane operators during load handling is also required.
Strict compliance with site safety protocols and Saudi Aramco’s lifting regulations is mandatory to maintain a safe working environment. Additionally, the position requires effective teamwork, collaborating closely with lifting supervisors, crane operators, and other riggers to ensure lifting operations proceed smoothly and without incident.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must hold a valid Saudi Aramco Rigger Level 3 certificate issued by an accredited third party. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional rigging experience, ideally within the oil and gas, refinery, or petrochemical sectors in Saudi Arabia, is required. Familiarity with load weight calculations, understanding centers of gravity, sling configurations, and rigging mathematics is essential to perform duties safely and efficiently.
Applicants must possess a valid Iqama, preferably transferable, along with an Aramco Vendor Code or card and a current medical fitness certificate.
