Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Chef to join our restaurant team located in Hamala, Block 1012. This role is ideal for someone passionate about food preparation and eager to support kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the head chef by preparing ingredients and cooking various dishes.
• Efficiently wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, meats, and other food items.
• Support in plating food and maintaining overall kitchen organization.
• Ensure the kitchen remains clean and hygienic at all times.
• Store food and supplies properly to maintain freshness and quality.
• Manage stock levels and communicate any shortages promptly.
• Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations regularly.
• Follow all food safety guidelines and restaurant procedures consistently.
• Provide support during busy periods to help the kitchen team work smoothly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Prior experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to handle a fast-paced, dynamic work setting.
• Good teamwork and clear communication skills.
• Strong personal hygiene and a professional approach to work.
• Motivation to learn and ability to follow instructions accurately.
