Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Executive Pastry Chef to lead and inspire our culinary teams within a growing Saudi food manufacturing company based in Riyadh. This role offers the chance to head production activities across multiple kitchens while driving creativity, quality, and operational excellence in our confectionery offerings.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will oversee pastry production throughout several sites, ensuring product consistency and excellence across all categories, including baked goods, cold desserts, chocolates, and both Eastern and Western sweets. Responsibilities include developing innovative recipes that align with our brand, managing production costs effectively, and minimizing waste without sacrificing quality. You will also handle supplier relations, negotiate contracts, and explore new sourcing opportunities to support production needs.

Implementing and maintaining food safety protocols such as HACCP and ensuring compliance with Saudi Food & Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations will be essential. Additionally, the Executive Pastry Chef will prepare production schedules, manage inventory and labor resources efficiently, and provide leadership and training to elevate team expertise and technical standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in the Saudi market, with significant leadership responsibilities.
• Proven expertise managing production across multiple sites and maintaining uniform quality standards.
• Hands-on proficiency across a broad range of pastry categories.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in quality assurance and cost management within food production.
• Professional culinary certification is preferred.
• Must have own transportation and willingness to travel between locations.
• Transferable Iqama is required for residents.
