Job Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Medical Equipment Engineers to join a healthcare facility in Riyadh. This opportunity is open exclusively to Filipino candidates who have a background in biomedical or clinical engineering. The role focuses on ensuring that all medical equipment operates safely and efficiently through routine maintenance, repairs, and calibration.

Key Responsibilities

The Medical Equipment Engineer will be responsible for a variety of technical tasks, including installing and commissioning new medical devices, conducting planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and handling emergency repairs. Additional duties involve calibrating equipment to meet accuracy standards, diagnosing malfunctions, and maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

The role also includes performing quality assurance inspections, managing spare parts inventory, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Effective communication with clinical staff regarding equipment status and troubleshooting is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of experience in medical equipment installation, maintenance, and repair, either locally or internationally.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic to effectively coordinate with healthcare teams and report on equipment issues.

Additional Requirements

Candidates must be capable of handling urgent repair calls beyond regular working hours, often through an on-call system. Attention to detail and adherence to manufacturer guidelines and regulatory standards are critical for ensuring equipment safety and reliability.
