Job Overview
Nair Systems is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with techno-functional expertise in Finastra Loan IQ systems to join its Qatar operations. The ideal candidate will have solid experience delivering banking system solutions, particularly in loan administration and core banking system integrations. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and business acumen to support system implementations, testing, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves detailed analysis and documentation of business requirements, ensuring thorough preparation of test cases to cover all aspects of the project scope. The candidate will manage the defect life cycle, monitor execution status, and perform regression testing. Close coordination with system analysts and developers is essential to design and enhance business systems compliant with banking standards and security requirements.
Additional duties include preparing functional specifications, writing user guides and procedural documentation, managing system business cycles, and actively contributing to performance review meetings. Providing clear support and answering queries from internal teams and external clients is also part of this position.
Required Skills and Experience
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Loan IQ application implementation and interface development.
- Deep understanding of Loan IQ functionalities, framework, and data dictionary (version 7.7.X).
- Proficiency with SDK development including inquiry scripts, event management, scripted APIs, and batch processing.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to debug interface and functional issues within Loan IQ.
- Comprehensive knowledge of RFR functionality, MX payments, and GL entry generation including batch and online accounting.
- Experience working with syndicated and bilateral loan deal processes covering modules such as customer setup, deal and facility building, portfolio management, payments, fee structures, and collateral management.
- Familiarity with core Java/J2EE, XML, Rest APIs, Oracle databases, packages, and stored procedures.
- Excellent business process analysis, mapping skills, and the ability to maintain high confidentiality and data protection standards.
Soft Skills
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Strong command of MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
- Good time management with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and adhere strictly to banking ethics and codes of conduct.
- Well-developed planning, organizing, and multitasking skills ensuring commitment and accountability.
Educational and Professional Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related technical field. A minimum of 4 years of experience in banking industry system support and implementations is required, including at least 3 years in an IT-focused role.
