Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join a dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires at least one year of independent on-site execution experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in electrical installations, containment systems, and maintenance tasks across a variety of commercial and industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Technician will be responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Core duties include:

• Installing PVC, EMT, and GI conduits for effective electrical containment and routing.
• Mounting cable trays, trunking, ladders, and fixing brackets with threaded rod supports on-site.
• Handling the fitting and wiring of fixtures such as switches, wiring accessories, indoor/outdoor lighting, and chandeliers.
• Connecting industrial isolators, disconnect switches, motion sensors, and dimming controls.
• Terminating and dressing internal panel wires neatly within distribution boards (DB); installing MCBs, ELCBs, and RCCBs; verifying three-phase load balancing; and ensuring torque specifications are met.
• Conducting fault finding and maintenance through continuity testing with digital multimeters, insulation resistance testing with Megger meters, and tracing electrical faults such as short circuits and open circuits.
• Replacing damaged components including burnt contacts and loose lugs to maintain system integrity.
• Routing containment for ELV and low current systems, including fire alarm loops, Cat6/Cat6A data and voice cables, CCTV, access control, SMATV, and intercom installations.
• Managing advanced electrical installations such as handling heavy-gauge armored (XLPE) cables, performing gland termination with mechanical shrouding, and torquing busbar joint bolts with breakaway heads.
• Setting up temporary construction power boards on slab floors and installing rooftop lightning protection grids along with earth pits.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The successful applicant should demonstrate solid hands-on experience in electrical installations and maintenance. Key competencies include strong technical knowledge of electrical containment and wiring, fault troubleshooting abilities, and proficiency with electrical testing tools. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work independently on-site are essential.
