Job Overview

Valence Group is seeking a dedicated IT and Networking Officer to join their team in Doha, Qatar. This full-time position involves managing and supporting the company’s computer systems and network infrastructure, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance across all IT platforms.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues to maintain high availability and security. You will manage Windows Server and desktop environments while administering Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services. Handling network devices such as Cisco, MikroTik, and HP equipment, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi systems, will be a core part of your role. Additionally, you will oversee cybersecurity measures and backup systems to safeguard organizational data.

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IT support and networking
• Proficiency in troubleshooting various hardware, software, and networking challenges
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server administration along with Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP
• Experience in working with Cisco, MikroTik, and HP networking devices
• Familiarity with maintaining routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi infrastructure
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and backup solutions

Preferred Certifications

• CCNA or CCNP certification
• CompTIA Network+ certification
• Microsoft Certifications related to server and network administration
• ITIL Foundation certification
