Job Overview
We are urgently seeking a skilled Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Bahrain. The role focuses on overseeing the installation, maintenance, and smooth operation of fuel dispensing systems, particularly those involving Wayne equipment across multiple fuel station sites. This opportunity offers a competitive salary package along with additional benefits such as a company car, fuel allowance, and SIM card.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, precision, and reliability of fuel dispensing stations. Key duties include:
- Performing both preventive and corrective maintenance on fuel dispensers and associated automation systems.
- Carrying out regular inspections and calibrations to maintain dispensing accuracy.
- Upgrading dispenser software and adjusting system configurations as required.
- Integrating dispensers with point-of-sale (POS) systems, tank level gauges, and automatic tank gauge (ATG) units.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and logs.
- Responding promptly to emergency service requests to minimize system downtime.
- Ensuring all maintenance work aligns with safety standards and company policies.
- Liaising with suppliers and technical support teams for spare parts procurement and system updates.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following criteria to be considered:
- A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
- At least 6 to 7 years of hands-on experience working with Wayne fuel dispensers.
- Familiarity with vapor recovery systems or forecourt automation technologies is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD, preparing Bills of Quantity, and communicating operational requirements effectively to clients.
- Strong capabilities in fault diagnosis and system repairs alongside the ability to interpret technical diagrams and service manuals.
- Knowledge of RS-485, IFSF communication protocols, and dispenser configuration tools.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and managing firmware upgrades.
- Additional experience in sales and annual maintenance contract (AMC) management is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from 850 to 900 BHD depending on experience, accompanied by a company-provided vehicle with fuel allowance and a SIM card for work-related communication.
