Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to enhancing the reliability, safety, and efficiency of mechanical equipment through proactive maintenance strategies and technical problem-solving. The successful candidate will work closely with the Superintendent and other teams to ensure smooth operational performance within the oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors.

Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this position includes preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting root cause analysis, and planning shutdowns and equipment overhauls. Developing and implementing effective maintenance procedures is essential, as is coordinating with internal departments and external vendors to ensure maintenance tasks are performed safely and on schedule.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in mechanical systems relevant to industries such as oil, gas, petrochemicals, chemicals, or fertilizers. A solid ability to analyze problems and develop solutions is important for reducing equipment failures and supporting safe plant operations. Familiarity with systems and methodologies like Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR), Risk Assessment, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is required. Experience with SAP software for maintenance management is also a must.
