We are seeking a skilled Joinery Estimator to join our team and oversee pre-contract estimation for joinery projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can accurately assess project requirements and prepare comprehensive cost projections.

Key Responsibilities

The Joinery Estimator will be responsible for:

• Analyzing drawings, designs, and specifications related to joinery works.
• Creating detailed cost estimates that account for materials, labor, and overhead expenses.
• Engaging with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
• Collaborating closely with project managers to ensure estimates meet project needs.
• Keeping thorough records of costs, supplier quotations, and project budgets.
• Providing technical advice and value engineering recommendations to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Adhering to industry standards and company policies throughout the estimation process.

Requirements

Ideal candidates will meet the following criteria:

• At least one year of experience as an estimator within the joinery or fit-out sectors.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Joinery, or a related field.
• Strong analytical abilities combined with excellent communication and mathematical skills.
