Job Overview

We are urgently seeking a skilled BMS Pre-Sales Engineer to join a reputable organization in Bahrain. This role involves combining technical expertise with sales acumen to drive business growth in the Building Management Systems sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing client engagements, preparing accurate project estimates, and delivering tailored BMS solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities

The BMS Pre-Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in achieving sales targets and supporting project execution. Main duties include:

• Meeting assigned sales objectives and contributing to business growth
• Reviewing tender drawings and accurately preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Estimating project costs based on technical specs and drawings
• Engaging with clients, contractors, and consultants to uncover new business opportunities
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and repeat business
• Interpreting client requirements and proposing effective BMS solutions
• Preparing and pricing quotations for tenders and direct clients
• Negotiating tender and contract conditions to secure advantageous agreements
• Securing sales by finalizing terms and contracts with clients
• Providing after-sales support and managing client accounts
• Monitoring costs, sales performance, and ensuring profitability of projects
• Generating sales forecasts and management reports
• Keeping thorough records of client and contractor interactions
• Collaborating closely with internal teams for smooth project implementation
• Participating in industry trade shows and marketing events to promote BMS offerings
• Delivering compelling technical presentations and system demonstrations
• Offering pre-sales technical assistance and product expertise
• Working with sales and technical colleagues to create customized BMS solutions
• Troubleshooting and resolving client and end-user technical issues
• Supporting project execution phases including testing and commissioning of BMS systems

Required Skills and Qualifications

Candidates should hold a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of five years’ experience in Building Management Systems or comparable fields is essential. Key qualifications include:

• Strong technical understanding of BMS products and solutions
• Proven experience in BMS estimation, testing, and commissioning
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage clients and close deals
• Ability to interpret complex technical requirements and convey solutions clearly

Compensation and Benefits
