An established international bank in Karachi is seeking a skilled Assistant Manager for their IT department. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of proven experience in banking IT and software development, focusing on aligning technology with strategic business objectives. This role involves close collaboration with key stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain critical software systems that support the bank’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end development, integration, and maintenance of various software programs. This includes deploying software tools, managing computer applications, and overseeing processes and performance metrics. The role also involves designing and implementing automated testing frameworks to streamline quality assurance, developing robust database systems to ensure efficient data availability for end users, and performing thorough bug analysis and troubleshooting. Additionally, providing technical support for ATM systems is a crucial part of the job.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4 to 6 years experience in software development, testing, deployment, and integration within a banking environment.
• Strong expertise in coding, debugging, and testing procedures specific to financial applications.
• Advanced knowledge of network infrastructure, server management, and database technologies including SQL, Oracle, and XML development.
• Experience with automated testing tools and software design methodologies.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.

Benefits

The role offers a competitive salary package ranging from PKR 90,000 to 130,000, reflecting experience and technical proficiency within the banking IT sector.
