Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Software Solutions Project Manager to lead and oversee solution delivery projects within the healthcare IT sector. This role involves managing projects from initial definition through deployment, ensuring alignment with customer objectives, budgets, and schedules. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders and guide diverse teams to deliver high-quality healthcare technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with Sales and Key Account Management teams during the pre-sales phase to define project scope and customer requirements.
• Conduct site assessments to understand local conditions and tailor solutions to the specific needs of customers.
• Develop risk assessments, detailed budgets, and project plans, providing accurate quotes aligned with customer expectations.
• Set clear project milestones and coordinate activities while maintaining continuous communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely procurement and execution of resources, materials, and tasks necessary for project success.
• Lead weekly project review meetings with all relevant stakeholders to monitor progress and address potential issues.
• Manage risk factors and customer concerns proactively to keep projects on track and within allocated budgets.
• Perform post-project evaluations including budget reconciliation and “Lessons Learnt” reviews to improve future delivery practices.
• Oversee installation processes and organize comprehensive user training sessions to facilitate smooth project adoption.

Team and Work Environment

You will join a highly skilled, dynamic, and diverse team focused on delivering exceptional service to healthcare customers. Reporting to the Solution Delivery Leader for the Middle East and Africa (META) region, you will also work alongside other project and account managers as well as various departments within Philips, fostering a collaborative working atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, preferably with a background in Healthcare Informatics.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in client-facing healthcare IT project management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential required.
• Strong expertise in contract and risk management alongside a solid understanding of the tendering process.
• Proven skills in negotiation and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in Arabic is mandatory for effective communication with clients and local teams.
• Robust business and commercial acumen, including budget and margin management as well as identifying growth opportunities.
