Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle Utilities C2M Architect with 15 to 20 years of techno-functional experience to join a dynamic team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and supporting Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), Meter Data Management (MDM), and Customer to Meter (C2M) systems within the utilities sector, specifically in power, water, and gas domains.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves leading multiple Oracle Utilities implementations and providing ongoing support across various modules such as rates, billing, payments, meter reading and management, credit and collections, case management, and new connections. The architect will also be responsible for engaging with clients to understand requirements, resolve issues, and deliver sustainable solutions.

Additional duties include reviewing and approving high-level and low-level design documents, custom programs, configurations, and unit test cases. The candidate should critically analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive measures. There is a strong focus on identifying automation and system improvement opportunities to reduce support tickets and enhance overall customer experience.

Mentoring team members in development, design, testing, and debugging is also an essential part of this role, along with managing multiple stakeholders effectively.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Comprehensive knowledge of Oracle CC&B and C2M modules, including rates, billing, payments, meter reading, meter management, credit and collections, case management, and new connections.
• In-depth understanding of Oracle MDM components such as scalar and interval data, events and alarms, device commands, remote disconnection/connection, VEE rules, device management, usage management, measuring components, device events and communication, usage subscription, time-of-use (TOU), interval meter data (IMD), and XML formats.
• Strong experience in Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) development and deployment.
• Ability to lead client discussions, analyze complex issues, and provide architectural guidance and sustainable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with reviewing technical documentation and ensuring solutions align with client requirements.
• Skill in identifying automation opportunities and system enhancements to improve service levels and customer satisfaction.
• Effective stakeholder management and team mentoring capabilities.

Qualifications

Certification in Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter, Oracle Utilities CC&B, or Oracle Utilities MDM is required. Extensive experience with multiple full lifecycle implementations and long-term support of Oracle Utilities solutions is essential.
