A well-established school in Bahrain is seeking a passionate and skilled Music and Drama Teacher to join their education team. This role involves delivering engaging lessons in music theory, instrumental practice, singing, as well as drama including acting and performance. Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering dynamic lessons that meet curriculum standards in both music and drama. They will organize and direct school productions such as plays, concerts, and musicals, ensuring high quality performances. Additionally, they will conduct assessments to track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents and the administration.

Other duties include contributing to curriculum development by integrating relevant methods and technologies, leading extracurricular activities like drama clubs and music ensembles, and managing classroom resources effectively. Maintaining discipline and participating in staff meetings are also important parts of the role.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of music education including theory, vocal, and instrument instruction
• Experience in drama teaching with skills in acting, movement, and stage production
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to diverse learning styles and student abilities
• Proven leadership in directing school performances and managing extracurricular groups
• Effective communication skills for reporting student progress and collaborating with parents and colleagues
• Organizational ability to manage classroom equipment and teaching materials
