Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The perfect candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate financial reports and statements, performing bank reconciliations, and conducting periodic audits. This role requires someone with strong business awareness and excellent interpersonal abilities to contribute to the financial health and compliance of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing financial data to support management decisions. Responsibilities include:

• Providing financial information through detailed research and analysis of accounting data.
• Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries by thoroughly compiling and interpreting account details.
• Recording financial transactions accurately in the accounting system.
• Recommending financial strategies by evaluating various accounting options.
• Summarizing current financial position via preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and related reports.
• Verifying financial transactions by conducting audits of financial documents.
• Establishing and maintaining accounting controls by proposing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Leading and assisting clerical accounting staff by coordinating activities and addressing any questions.
• Investigating and reconciling discrepancies in financial data by reviewing account information.
• Ensuring the security of financial information through regular database backups and adherence to internal controls.
• Processing payments by validating documentation and coordinating disbursements.
• Providing guidance on accounting policies and procedures through research and interpretation of relevant regulations.
• Complying with financial legal requirements at federal, state, and local levels by staying updated on legislation and advising management accordingly.
• Generating specialized financial reports by collecting and analyzing account trends.
• Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive financial data to protect company operations and customer trust.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in accounting roles.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with accounting software systems.
