Our client, a leading organization in Saudi Arabia, is urgently seeking a seasoned Financial Controller or Chief Financial Officer to join their executive team. This role requires a strategic finance professional with extensive experience in financial management, reporting, and operational finance across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a vital role in overseeing the finance function, ensuring robust financial governance and controls, and driving the company’s financial planning and analysis processes. Responsibilities include:

• Partnering with business units to provide financial insights that support decision-making
• Leading management reporting and financial performance reviews
• Designing and managing end-to-end financial processes including Record to Report, Request to Pay, and Order to Cash cycles
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting
• Leading budgeting, planning, and forecasting activities
• Implementing and maintaining strong financial governance frameworks

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably as a Financial Controller, CFO, or within major consulting firms specializing in finance setup and integration such as the Big 4. Key qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory
• Professional credentials such as CPA, CA, or CFA are highly preferred
• An MBA or relevant postgraduate degree will be considered a strong advantage
• Demonstrated experience across multiple industries enhancing operational finance expertise
• Proven ability in finance business partnering, management reporting, and financial governance
