Job Overview
ENGIE Tihama Power is seeking a dedicated Power Plant Operator to join their team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient production of power and steam while adhering to all company policies, customer requirements, and statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will operate various plant areas following strict Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) standards. Responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive operational logs, supporting the Permit to Work (PTW) system, conducting regular inspections, testing equipment, and monitoring plant performance. Ensuring smooth and safe handovers between shifts is also a vital part of this position.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in power plant operations.
- Educational background in engineering, either a degree or diploma.
- Hands-on knowledge of Distributed Control and Monitoring Systems (DCMS), MARK VI control systems, and ECMS.
- Excellent understanding of HSE regulations and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.
